Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to install an APK from outside the Play Store?
Yes! When downloaded from our official website (studoke.com), our APKs are completely safe. We are the same verified team that developed the apps for Google Play. Both APKs are scanned regularly and contain no malware, ads, or trackers.
What's the difference between StudoKe and KMTC Student Hub?
StudoKe is the full platform covering all 45+ Kenyan universities, colleges, TVETs, and KASNEB. KMTC Student Hub is specially built for Kenya Medical Training College students, with tailored features, resources, and content for medical and health science courses. If you're a KMTC student, we recommend KMTC Student Hub for the best experience.
Why isn't the app on the Play Store / App Store right now?
Our developer accounts are undergoing a routine verification process with both Google and Apple. This is a standard procedure that many apps experience. We're working closely with both platforms to resolve this quickly and expect to be back on both stores very soon.
Will my data sync when you return to the app stores?
Absolutely! Since you sign in with your Google account, all your data is synced to our servers. When the apps return to the Play Store, you can simply update and all your data, history, and preferences will carry over seamlessly.
Is there an iOS version available?
Apple doesn't allow sideloading apps on iOS. However, you can use our full-featured web app at studoke.com on your iPhone or iPad. You can even add it to your home screen for an app-like experience! The iOS app will be available once we're back on the App Store.
How do I enable "Install from unknown sources"?
When you try to install the APK, Android will show a prompt. Tap "Settings", then toggle on "Allow from this source" for your browser (Chrome, etc.). This is a one-time setting. You can disable it again after installing if you prefer.
