Notes on the basics of immunology: immunology as the study of the immune system and the system's protection of the body against injurious agents such as microbes, immunopathology as the disorder arising from derangement of the system, and the categories in which such a disorder arises, from deficiency and autoimmunity to hypersensitivity.
