Growing Leaders Programme Session 4: Transformational Leadership

The concept, components and process elements of transformational leadership. Explains the components in turn, including inspirational motivation, by which a leader aspires to change an organisation by creating and carving out a vision that is inspiring and appealing to its members and then facilitates the achievement of that vision. Ends by asking the participant to take the position of a leader in an organisation and develop a vision for it, and by confronting the concerns raised about transformational leadership despite its popularity.
