Growing Leaders Programme Session 14: Conflict Resolution and Peace Building

Conflict as a phenomenon involving at least two parties and as old as society, and the ways communities and organisations have always developed to deal with it. Traces the sources of conflict in the workplace, difference in personalities, different values and competition, and in most African countries the conflicts arising from poor governance and leadership. Examines the meanings attached to peace and conflict and closes on the discussion of the sources of conflict common in the country and the role of youth and leaders in resolving them.
