EBM 506: Biomechanics II Continuous Assessment Test 1
Continuous assessment test one in biomechanics two, taken on the twenty-fifth of November in the first semester of the academic year. Two questions. The main parameters engineers consider when predicting and calculating the lifetime and wear of healthy and implanted joints - friction, surface, lubrication and wear - each discussed in terms of the synovial joint with equations and illustrations where applicable. Then the six different mechanisms thought to be involved in human lubrication, the region each one can be applied to, and the joint property that explains the choice.
