Biosensors for Health, Environment and Biosecurity

Twenty-four open-access chapters arranged under biosensor technology and materials, biosensors for health, and biosensors for environment and biosecurity. The materials chapters cover fluorescent biosensors for protein interactions and drug discovery, AlGaN/GaN high-electron-mobility-transistor sensors for bio-applications, carbon and polymer transducers, and integrated sensor circuits. The applied chapters describe clinical and food assays, mammalian-cell bioreporters read out by bioluminescence and fluorescence, and engineered nuclear hormone receptor biosensors built for environmental monitoring and early drug discovery.
