What the proposal must do once a supervisor has been assigned: a critical and analytical specification of the goals of the project, an outline of the strategy and methodology for reaching them, literature references with a comment on each one's relevance, evidence of understanding the principles underlying the project, and the foreseeable problems with the strategies for resolving them.
