Growing Leaders Programme Session 11: Stress Management in Leadership and Management
The skills, interventions and techniques of stress management and the part effective leadership plays in it. Covers tracking stress as a leader, finding out what the causes are, writing down the reactions and how they were dealt with, and looking for ways to reduce the amount of stress carried, with the principle that a stressor handled early is easier to manage. Ends on the activity of listing the causes of stress and the strategies for each, discussing the positive and negative aspects of stress, and identifying the coping skills that help.
